I chose to take my photo outside at my home. The picture chose to talk about is the photo in the bottom right corner with the swans. The distance in the shot is twenty feet away from the the row boat. My point of view when taking this photo is straight on, positioning my camera horizontally to get the swans and the dock in the photo with the horizon line. In this picture I considered the rule of thirds by breaking up my image into three sections horizontally. The horizon line and the sand line breaks the sand, water, and sky into three. This photo is a dynamic composition because the darker figurers lead your eye around the picture.
Pattern & Texture
Reflection I believe my most successful picture is the fence and the shadow it presents. The distance in the shot is about two feet away from the shadow. I took this photo from above to capture the shadow and the fence in one picture. This image is taken horizontally. An image that might be overexposed is the flower image. It is very bright in the background and may be better if it were darker to tell what the background is and to make the image more crisp. The image I believe is underexposed is the picture in the bottom right due to the darkness of the leaves and not being able to tell the different shapes in the bottom left corner.
